How long have you been in the industry, and how did you get your start?
I’ve been in the industry coming up on 30 years. I got my start from a friend in the industry and built my business from there. I started in health insurance sales and branched out from there.
What are your primary lines of business?
Life insurance, LTC (asset protection, and annuities.
Long-Term Care: The Latest Cola War

In the 1980's there was a “cola war”, with Coca-Cola and Pepsi vying for the top position as the world’s favorite cola. It seemed every commercial, advertisement and billboard was filled with images of cold refreshing drinks, lots of bubbles, and new recipes.
Today, in the long-term care (LTC) insurance industry, we’re going through our own version of the cola war. The latest version is the reimbursement vs. indemnity battle - which solution is better?
